Exporting to a spreadsheet
Your figures in a file anything can open.
A backup is the whole database, encrypted, and only this app can read it. An export is for everything else: a tax return, an accountant, a spreadsheet of your own.
Export from Setup for every account, or from Where for the account and range on screen. Three kinds:
- Every entry, one row per category line, with its amount in its own currency and in the home currency.
- Categories over the range: money out, money in, and the difference.
- Month by month: one row per category, one column per month.
The file is a CSV, which opens in any spreadsheet, and is handed to the share sheet to be saved or sent.
