The Runway screen
How far the money goes, and what takes it there.
The figure at the top is the lowest your balance gets over the next thirty days. Not what you hold now — the bottom of the dip you are heading into.
Under it, in a sentence, is why: the date it happens and the entry that causes it. If the balance never dips below what you hold today, it says that instead.
The rest of the screen#
- The line is your balance day by day. Solid up to today, dashed after it; the dashed part is forecast.
- Held now is what the spending accounts actually contain, added together in your home currency. Investments and property are left out; they are in net worth.
- Leaving accounts is what is committed to go out over the coming month.
- Then your accounts, each with its balance as of today. Tap one to open its ledger.
- Coming up lists the next entries due, and where each leaves its account standing.
- The month's plan and whether it is holding.
- Last, net worth: everything owned less everything owed. Tap it for the breakdown and the last year.
If an account holds a currency with no exchange rate, a note says so above the totals, because they are leaving that account out.
