Net worth
Everything owned, less everything owed.
The runway asks whether the money lasts. Net worth asks whether it is growing.
It adds up every open account, converted into the home currency: money, investments and property, less debts kept as accounts. To that it adds what the loans on the Due screen still owe, worked out from their terms and extra payments, and what credit cards with no account of their own still owe.
Investments and property#
An investment account or a house does not change by spending, it changes in value. Choose Update value from the account's menu on the Runway screen and type what it is worth today; the difference is recorded as a valuation. Valuations move the balance and net worth, and are left out of spending and income, since a market moving is neither.

The chart shows net worth at the end of each of the last twelve months, and today.
